Mad man is known for unconditional format lifestyle, every moment,
season and weather changes his cause not because he thinks and acts rational, but
it is just a normal thing for him. Decisions are made by the current weather,
assumptions which has no justification and he cannot control due to abnormal
reasoning which gives him comfort in all situation.
Is Aba a mad town? everyone there is a victim, both the poor and rich, small and big, young and old. However, Aba is an ancient Provence, the commercial base of Abia State, the New York
and china of Nigeria and Africa. Since its creation, the city has been crying
and calling for responsible and responsive leadership but has never found one. Rather
all it get are; hit and run mastered rapists who counts, beat and made way with
her resources, thereafter left her bleeding and crying.
The great elephant city has been used for political gambling for
decades and its infrastructures has dilapidated that each season of the year has
a disguising effect on the residuals which results to deficit personal
financing and life below economic agent expectations.
During raining season, road infrastructures in Aba are made of pot-holes
and filled with water-compilation; that Cars and Keke drown daily; a drop of
rain amounts to floods and traffic jams all over the city thereby increasing
the cost of living via transportation. During such period you pity Aba residents,
business men and women; as they roam home like mad people with their foot-wears
in their heads, hands, and with folded cloths; beaten by cold and no
electricity light for room heater. Some home/compounds then worth not living in,
because they are flooded and the water lines are filled with refuges though,
created by the residents. Then people cries g rain season holiday.
While during the dry and winter seasons; both residents and visitors
suffer cough and running nose; as a result of the menthol and flaming dust from
those pot-holes and decades under-construction roads (even federal roads are
like that, coursed). Everyone then tries to shield their faces and nose; walking
home to meet heat hence there is no electricity light for cooling gadgets. Then
you see all calling for the return of rain to, reduce the rate of dust and heat
emanating from poor road network and other amenities.
Then, after considering all these inconveniences that is powered by
irresponsible and irresponsive governance with their helpless and unconditional
implications on citizens and residents. I asked, when and what season and time
will Aba residents enjoy good environmental lives-style since, the government
for decades has sworn with their lives never to be responsive? Because the
unregulated rational lifestyle of Aba residents are equated to that of a mad
man without a hope of recovery, hence all victim both the rich and the poor, the dead and living, handicaps and complete, the rulers and the followers...
